Hats for Sale!
Project Overview:
Cardinal Ethanol is in the process of building an ethanol plant in East Central Indiana, near Union City. The plant is expected to use 36 million bushels of corn and produce 100 million gallons of ethanol, along with 320,000 tons of dried distillers grains with solubles (DDGS) per year. The project is expected to be complete in late September 2008, disbarring any construction or weather related delays between now and then.
Mission Statement:
To successfully construct and operate a 100 million gallon, natural gas fired ethanol facility which will profit our investor owners, while fueling America’s economic development.
We intend to add value to locally grown grains by providing a local outlet to process the corn grown in the area, and at the same time, increase the total demand for corn in the East Central Indiana and West Central Ohio region. To meet this mission, we will provide a processing facility that will allow members to invest in a growing industry.
